In 2000, he used hot sauce in an attempted escape from the lock-up. The same jail may be used as a prison for the defendants in the upcoming 9/11 trial.
The AP story on the attempted escape is pretty graphic, but the point is that hot sauce products, especially the extracts, can be downright dangerous.
